Burntwood, a civil parish, is the second largest conurbation within Lichfield district. It is located 7km south of Lichfield, and 6.6km east of Cannock. It is close to Cannock’s conurbations and shares a history of mining in Chasetown, Chase Terrace and Chase. This gives rise to strong cultural and historical connections with the Cannock region.
